The golden rule: last on, first off
Put your jewellery on after perfume, hairspray, lotion and makeup have dried, and take it off first when you get home. Chemicals are the biggest reason plated jewellery loses its shine.
Plated, kundan and oxidised jewellery
- Keep away from water, sweat and perfume. Remove before bathing, swimming, workouts and cooking.
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth after each wear.
- Store each piece separately in the pouch or a zip-lock bag so pieces don’t scratch or tangle.
- Add a small silica gel sachet to your jewellery box to absorb moisture — especially during monsoon.
- Oxidised silver darkens naturally with time; that is part of its charm. Do not use silver dip or polish, which strips the finish.
Anti-tarnish stainless steel pieces
Our anti-tarnish range is made to handle everyday life — water, sweat and daily wear. Rinse with plain water after the beach or pool and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach and chlorine cleaners.
Pearls
Pearls are delicate. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth, let them dry flat, and store them away from other jewellery.
Clothing care
- Cotton and chikankari: gentle hand wash in cold water, dry in shade, iron inside out.
- Mirror-work and embellished pieces: dry clean recommended.
- Wash dark colours separately for the first few washes.
